We are making this as easy as a simple task call with our variable data extraction tasks. You can now get any columns from any website, all with one api task endpoint, simply adjusting the column json you send in. How it works
For most Promptloop tasks you want to extract the same columns, so you can set your columns when you create the task and every time you run it you get the same columns returned. However, if you want to provide your users with the ability to defined their own columns this was prohibitive. With dynamic tasks you can now pass in a json object defining the columns you want, specifying the query, action_instructions, and the keyword.
This will then run like any smart crawl task, walking through the provided website and returning the requested columns. You can send in up to 6 columns at a time and we will be adding additional formatting instructions as well soon. The api output will return a json object with the keyword being the key and the resulting text being the value.
