Prelim was founded in 2017 by Heang Chan and Chris Blaser. Heang Chan, the CEO, brings deep banking expertise from roles at Goldman Sachs, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America, as well as product experience at Blend. Chris Blaser, the CTO, is a self-taught software engineer and former member of Blend's engineering team, with academic roots in Math and English from UC Berkeley.
